The perfect venue for showers, intimate cocktail parties, luncheon or dinner parties, corporate meetings, business networking functions or breakout sessions, the Atriums are as flexible as they are beautiful. Each stands alone for an important meeting or party, or combine them to accomodate up to 160 guests.

The Kent Atrium

  • Accommodates about 80 in ten rounds of eight
  • Elegant pillars frame space
  • Windows and glass on all four sides including glass paned French Doors opening into adjoining Sussex Atrium
  • 15’ x 15’ skylight framed by multiple smaller skylights
  • So much natural light!
  • Doorways leading to outdoor terrace, interior New Castle Room with fireplace and the Grille at The D
  • Upholstered chairs, premium linens, and portable bar service
  • Buffets, plated luncheons, hors d’oeuvres, and other options available by request
  • Unique space offers a wide variety of seating options

The Sussex Atrium

  • Accommodates about 80 in ten rounds of eight
  • Elegant pillars frame space
  • Windows and glass on all four sides including glass paned French Doors opening into adjoining Atrium

  • So much natural light!
  • Three sets of doors leading to outdoor terrace, interior New Castle Room with fireplace and an attractive breezeway leading to The Ballroom at The “D”
  • Upholstered chairs, premium linens, and portable bar service
  • Buffets, plated luncheons, hors d’oeuvres, and other options available by request
  • Player piano available for your entertainment needs or for the live music of your choosing
  • Highlighted by leaded glass on walls bordering the New Castle Room
  • Unique space offers a wide variety of seating options

The Terrace

Let the sky be your canopy in this expansive, unique outdoor venue for cocktail receptions, wedding ceremonies, cocktail parties, wedding ceremonies, or any special occasion.  This part of The “D” will host up to 200 guests depending on the needs of your event.

  • Decorative brick walls separate sitting areas on this expansive Terrace
  • Coach lanterns border The Terrace for exterior lighting and elegant photo backdrops
  • Lighted fountain on The Terrace makes the perfect location for outdoor wedding pictures
  • Wrought iron tables, chairs and umbrellas provide comfortable exterior seating
  • Overlooking the putting green, fourth green and first fairway
  • Overlooking White Clay Creek State Park
  • Entrances from the Terrace into the Atrium or into the Breezeway that leads to the Ballroom

This refined venue anchors The “D” and is ideal for sales meetings, formal presentations, training sessions, and so much more.  Holding up to 80 guests based on the type of event you’re planning, this versatile space can be used prior to an Atrium luncheon or an afternoon on the links.

  • Curtains and window treatments can darken room for visual presentations and other purposes
  • Exits to either Atrium or the Grille

This unforgettable setting is the perfect choice for grand receptions, fantastic parties, social gatherings, fundraisers, and large business functions.  Accommodating up to 350 guests seated or up to 500 for certain types of social functions, you and your guests will quickly fall in love with The Ballroom at The “D.”
